Kerry Auction Rooms was founded in Jan. 2008
by Tom & Patricia O Connell who had previously
run an Antique Shop at the same address since
1998. We hold monthly Auctions of Georgian,
Victorian, Edwardian and some modern furniture
as well as silver, Banknotes, pottery and china,
antiquarian books, clocks & watches, militaria,
pictures and prints, paintings, collectables and
garden items. This general mix in each of our
auctions is made up from instructions from both
private and professional clients.
Auction Dates
Our sales usually take place on a Tuesday evenings once a month and start at 5pm, viewing will be held for 3 - 4 days before each auction. The dates and times will published on our home page as soon as an auction is scheduled.
Collection and Post Auction Sales
Kerry Auction Rooms is open for two days after each sale date to facilitate collection of purchased items. During this period, all un-sold items will be on offer to buyers at the low estimate plus fees @ 15% inc. Vat.
Delivery
We also offer a delivery service for anyone who wishes to avail of it, Tralee €20, Kerry €50. Larger Items such as Pianos and Wardrobes etc. and long distance deliveries will have to be quoted for on a individual basis.
Auction Catalogue
Each Auction usually consists of approx. 500 lots and is sold at 120 lots/hr. A detailed catalogue with photos will be on this web site approx. 4 days before the sale date as well as a free downloadable pdf and ms word catalogue which will facilitate entry to sales room for 2 people, alternatively a catalogue can be purchased at the sales rooms at a cost of €4 each.
