Beatles signed Aer Lingus Menu
An original Aer Lingus inflight menu from 1st. Nov. 1963, the date that the beatles touched down at Dublin Airport, signed by all four members of the band for a Lucky flight attendant
A wonderful piece of music history and Irish history all in one with superb provenance
It has come to our attention that a wbsite who itself is promoting an auction of Beatles Memorabilia in Liverpool have circulated a statement that they believe the signatures to be correct except for Paul's signature which in their opinion was actually done by John Lennon. We have subsequently made contact with the seller of this item who is also the said flight attendant and she has stated that all The Fab Four individually signed the menu in her presence. We have no reason to doubt this statement. The name of this flight attendant will be made available to the winning bidder for the purposes of verification and she has agreed to answer any questions that may arise (during our conversation she also told us that the cabin crew drew lots to see which one of them would get to look after the first class passengers however at the last minute it was revealed that the band wished to travel economy hence Lucky flight attendant)
